Cllr Patricia Jordan
First elected in 2007, I've cherished representing my constituents and still vividly recall helping my first resident with a waste issue. Guiding residents to the right resources is crucial, as is giving them a voice, even when I can't personally solve their problems.
Now, as part of a coalition, listening is even more vital for reaching consensus. This principle of listening guides my interactions with everyone, from residents and officials to the opposition.
I believe that visiting residents and holding regular surgeries are essential for truly understanding their concerns.
